Cellex-C Stretch Mark Cream

I was just talking with my friend the other day and she informed me that pregnancy is among the top two reasons that women get stretch marks. The other reason is weight gain itself. I am pregnant right now and my skin feels stretched out to the max. Is there nothing I can do to prevent them? She told me when your skin gets stretched too far, the elastic fibers simply break, making ugly scars on your skin. I don't want to be left with scars across my belly. It will make me so self-conscious. And then even if I am able to lose all of this baby weight, they would still be there. I'd never wear a swimsuit again! What should I do? After some researching, I think I may have found a product worth looking into.

The makers of Cellex-C now offer a solution for women like me. They have added a stretch mark cream to their line of amazing products. The original Cellex-C is a patented formula of Vitamin C complex. This sets it apart from all other vitamin complex products available. Vitamin C is a ntural component in your skin and is essential for keeping your skin looking soft and elastic. Their patented ingredient referred to as “the complex” is an ascorbic acid concentrate. Since developing the highly effective serum, they have created a product line specifically for mother and child. The mother and child products use only the best all-natural ingredients. You will not find any harsh chemicals or substitutes in these products. What you will find is superior efficiency and safety for the skin care of both mother and baby.

The Cellex-C stretch mark cream contains many powerful moisturizers. These are designed specifically to do two things:

  1. Keeps your skin as elastic as possible.
  2. Reduces the scaring of stretched skin during pregnancy.

The nutrients found in this formula have collagen boosting ingredients. Ideally then, it should be applied at least twice a day during your pregnancy, and can also be used afterward. When used daily in this way, it will help prevent the formation of stretch marks. It does this by keeping the skin supple. That in turn helps to improve your resistance to tearing collagen fibers.

The Cellex-C Stretch Mark Cream is described as a soft, butter-yellow colored cream. The rich blend of botanical oils and butter within creates a light weight moisturizer that is all natural and safe to use during your pregnancy. It starts working immediately to produce a moist skin texture with a velvety soft, dewy feel. It helps the skin's ability to snap back after your pregnancy.

The ingredients in the formula work to produce noticeable results in a short amount of time. So what are the ingredients? There are seven major ingresients found in the Cellex-C Stretch Mark Cream:

  • Meadowfoam Seed Oil  - This imparts moisturizing properties that provide all day hydration by staying on the surface of your skin.
  • Karite Butter – This is also known as Shea butter. It has an amazing ability to keep skin hydrated. The Karite butter also pays a role in prevention of stretch marks by stimulating you skin to increase elasticity.
  • Arctic Cloudberry Seed Oil – It is rich in fatty acids that protect the lipid barrier of the skin.
  • Kukui Nut Oil – This Hawaiian oil is known to soothe and moisturize with out leaving you skin feeling greasy.
  • Lavender Oil – It has an aroma that is calming and soothing to your senses.
  • Olive Wax – This acts as a lubricant to help spread the cream over your skin. It is also what will give your skin that wonderful velvety texture.
  • Zinc – This is an important mineral that is needed to firm up the elastin strands in your tissues.

Application of the stretch mark cream is almost as important as the ingredients themselves. The makers of the cream note that it is designed to “melt” into your skin at body temperature. They suggest you do this by scooping out a portion and gently rub it in your palms to warm it up. To apply it to you belly: First, exfoliate well. Then, smooth it over you belly using circular motion that massages it into your skin. Do this until it is fully absorbed. You would want to start this as early in pregnancy as possible, before stretch marks appear. Also, using the cream at least twice a day is suggested. Morning and bedtime is a good and easy way to do this. You would want to continue to use this cream at least two months after your baby is born.
